Storm/Debris Damage Affects Supply Room

No one person can tell you when it is going to rain. We can all say that we would love to be a meteorologist and be wrong 95% of the time and still have a good paying job. But the fact of the matter is when storms roll through damage can happen faster than ever expected.
Last week a commercial client of SERVPRO of Salem Counties called due to a roof being opened, which was getting repaired, and the storms rolled through dumping rain inside their supply counter warehouse. Not only did it damage product for sale, which was then deemed water logged and is being disposed of, but with the winds brought roofing material, dirt, and other airborne particles inside and covered all of their consumables.
The team here at SERVPRO of Salem County quickly responded in less than 1 hour from the time they called to do an initial walk through. What was the biggest concern of the Operations Officer? Limited Business Interruption. That is our number one factor when working with any commercial client. Limited Business Interruption. So the job was completed around the clients business hours.
The final walk through was completed at 7am, just 2 days after work was started, when the supply counter opened up for business. 0 hours of business interruption.
