It's A New Year!

Ah, it's the beginning of a new year. As always this brings its challenges. We are in winter which means cold weather and frozen pipes! There is no time like right now to be checking your home overall!

When did you change your air filters last? Have you checked your crawlspace since the most recent rain and snow we've received? Is there adequate heat in your basement? Are your pipes insulated? All good questions to ask yourself this time of year. You never know what you will find when it comes to water damage.

Also do you have previous water damage causing secondary damage on your home such as visible mold growth? This is damaging not only to your property but can cause health effects also!

Make one of your new year's resolutions to be paying more attention to the little household things that are tedious but oh so necessary. Happy New Year from all of us here at SERVPRO of Salem County!
