Tip Tuesday – Here is 7 of them!

Avoid Bursting Pipes while this "cold front" approaches.

1. Wrap outside faucets
2. Caulk around pipes where they enter the home (or business)
3. Disconnect garden hoses
4. Drain in-ground sprinkler systems
5. Let a Stream of water run (if the temperature dips below freezing)
6. Open Cupboard doors in the kitchen and bathrooms
7. Shut off and drain your water system if you are leaving your home or business for several days

Broken Pipes happen quicker and easier than you think when those cold temperatures start. Broken pipes can cause an overwhelming water damage scenario.
